This project was motivated to provide a solution for testing prototype mechanisms in FRC without having to have a full control system.
The Motor Contoller Box uses an Arduino Uno to generate a PWM signal and drive a standard FRC motor controller.
All components are packaged inside of a 3D printed housing.
The Motor Controller Box has an LED screen that displays the precentage speed and the voltage. A knob is used to drive the motor in either direction and to control the speed.
