3D PRINTED GEAR BOX

This project was created as a gearbox for a shooter flywheel at high RPMs that fits in a very small package.

It mounts by clamping onto a piece of 2x1 tubing with a clearance hole drilled in it for the shaft. The back has mounting points for a VEX Magnetic encoder with a 3D printed adapter to make it fit a hex shaft.

The belt is tensioned by a sliding bearing in the middle that is pushed downwards by a screw. Extra support is given to the motors by the crossbar in the back zip tied to each motor.
